1994 Farmers are by nature a creative breed of folks. Maybe it's because they are around so much in life, or maybe it's because their
daily life has so many mechanical challenges. Whatever the reason, growing up on a farm tends to bring out the mechanical engineer in many young
people
and my husband fits this description.
Robin's parents, grandparents, and great grandparents were farmers in Nebraska and
he's always talking about his grandpa that could fix most any mechanical problem
he encountered. I suppose it's no surprise that he is always in his shop finding a "better" way to do something. However I was more enthusiastic than usual the first time I saw the truck cover he came up with
You see, we ran our own specialty company in the industrial insulation trade. Robin
designed and built removable insulation systems for use on equipment that requires thermal protection. I
kept the books and up with our growing family. Several years ago we needed a truck cover to keep our loads clean and
dry. Being an inventor Robin used an idea from fabric architecture to make a truck cover that would stay tight and adjust to different load heights without the use of a frames,
snaps or buckles. The cover stores neatly behind the seat until needed also!
When I saw the first prototype I was so impressed I knew we just had to try to bring this product to market! First thing was the name and we settled on the Bed Skin because the cover
looks and fits like an animal skin. Next came a couple years of the patenting,
design and material prototyping. This is where I came in. I found materials and sewing procedures
that made the Bed Skin producible.
It's been quite a process! Now we are able to proudly offer
the Bed Skin to you!
2005 Robin
and I want to Sincerely Thank you for your support. We appreciate the business you've
given us over the past decade and as one loyal customer said, "
This is my third Bed Skin and third new truck. Once you've had a Bed
Skin on your truck you can't live without one. In my opinion Bed Skins
should come standard with every truck." Customers
like this make us feel really great about our product. We look forward
to making a Bed Skin for your truck. Give us a call or order on

How our customer's have encouraged us. I get calls all the time from
happy Bed Skin owners. Thank you! In spite of the fact that our 800
number has been infiltrated by Chase Credit card company and we have
had to get rid of our toll free number, customers are finding us! I
must say you Bed Skin buyers are smarter then those credit card users
who can't dial a phone number correctly. So call us
